Losing in Iraq cannot be an option. The only one who can defeat us is ourselves. If we leave Iraq before the job is done, then the slaughter will make Darfur seem like a "SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC". I hope and pray that Congress will provide the money that President Bush needs to fight the war without deadlines or "PORK".

The funding to help Iraq train and for fighting terrorism in Iraq remains. We will not be 'abandoning' Iraq.

Hate to say it, but as negative an appeal as defeat is, it's inevitable. The Iraqi government isn't cooperating (and is actually fragmenting), there's been no improvement in safety, and sectarian violence is climbing. Best that we get out before things get uglier.

No, defeat is not inevitable. We are The United States of America, we do not lose any war that we really try to win. Leaving Iraq will not bring peace. The slaughter really will make Darfur look very small by comparison. Then our own streets will become drastically less safe.

The slaughter is already bad, and our streets have actually become less safe because of this war. If it's so bad, why isn't there slaughter in our streets already? Saying that terrorists will come home is a huge overreaction. They're already plentiful, and they haven't completed any huge attacks yet.

We are able to lose wars. We are not invincible. As soon as we realize that then the less troops we'll lose and the sooner Iraq can sort things out for itself.
