As I figured, there were too many prescription drugs that Heath Ledger had. Why do doctors have the habit of overprescribing medicine for people like Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith, and if she is not careful, Britney Spears?

Seems like they would beg the doctor to do it. Or the doctor wants to keep his patients happy. It must be hard for a doctor to police themselves when it comes to people like Ledger, Smith, and others.

It's possible he had more then one doctor, more then one pharmacy.

Also, I heard he suffered terribly from insomnia. Who knows what you would do, what you would take, if you thought you might be able to have a good night's rest?

He may have at more than one doctor. If Mr. Ledger had insomnia, the least he could have done was to submit to a sleep study. I read that some of the medicines he took caused him to lose sleep.

He had doctors in London and in the US. I'm sure they were not in communication about Heath. It is very easy to overdose on those kinds of drugs, without thinking that you took too many.

Each one probably never asked questions about the other doctors that Ledger saw. That's probably why there was a lack of communication among all of them.
