Even if there were any reason to believe that this woman did this without emotion and callously, it does not change the fact that "cold-blooded" is an emotionally loaded buzzword.

Right....she wants the husband awake and aware of what was coming to him...giving him the ability to defend himself in someway and then if successful take the anger out on the wife and daughter more. Going back to CF's previous post of just make the headline "Husband gets life in prison for murder of Wife and Daughter"....and if he failed at defending himself and he dies anyways oh look he is dead...only this isnt cold-blooded its umm..warm-blooded?
It's a perfectly apt expression:

cold-blooded

So you would claim that the abuse on the wife and daughter was cold-blodded too then? Wait....there were emotions behind it. Anger, hate, disgust ect... Thank you very much

But you are making it very clear that you think this woman was justified in MURDERING her husband.
Because she was! Not saying it was a smart thing to do but she was justified.

So much for your alleged interest in equality of the sexes and the rule of law
Yeah Gary, real equal, you still havnt fully answered that if this is all equal...where is the abuse to the husband? Equal you say? Seems alittle one-sided

Yet again you are trying to defend this woman murderer
Because the husband deserved what he was dishing out.

Why not just admit you are on this woman's side and are floundering around trying to justify her evil actions.

Clearly you have a flagrant disregard for the rule of law, one of the pillars upon which any civilised democratic society is bui

Finally you admit that you think it's ok for a wife to murder her husband in cold blood

Okie dokie then(as an example not saying for this to happen) have your Wife then beat the living crap out of you and your family over the course of 5 years or so....
How do you think it feels having the woman you love and thought loved you back beat you down to the floor day after day, 365 days a year for 5 years?
Doesnt feel good right?
You are scared, fearing for your life and your familes.
Go to the police? Sure but he will get out eventually and come after you with a vengence.
Life in prison...doubt that would be a verdict
Restraning order? Pfft like those work....
Flee the state? You could but still can be tracked down...

Point being is that you are in no way safe from her and after 5 years of it all you really just boil down to the conclusion that you have to take matters into your own hands because nothing else will work...all other options are pointless and futile. And the one thing that crosses your mind that would solve it all is you need to rid her of her life because that is the only way you will be. And after 5 years of physical and mental abuse....you really arent thinking straight anymore because that sort of thing takes a heavy toll on judgement. You dont care anymore you just want to be free.

That is 99.9% what I would say had passed her mind...at the time of the "cold-blooded murder"

Because that is not true. I think she "snapped" just like she said she did.

I believe that at that moment she was probably desparate, terrified, crazy,... any number of things besides "cold-blooded" or "evil."

And I believe that the law was carried out just as it should have been.

I repeat, you admit that you think it's ok for a wife to murder her husband in cold blood

Clearly you have a flagrant disregard for the rule of law, one of the pillars upon which any civilised democratic society is built.

And I repeat, you dont know what goes on in the mind of a person who lives through it all, I know because I was told what goes on in the mind.

Clearly you have a flagrant disregard for the rule of law, one of the pillars upon which any civilised democratic society is built.
Clearly you have a flagrant disregard for emotions and care.

You promote equality so much but you are too blinded by the crap you spew out that you cant see that the husband got the equal amount of pain and suffering that the wife and daughter recieved. If you dont see it that way dont ever use the word equal(ity) in any of your posts ever again because you obviously dont know what the word means in the smallest sense possible.

One must realize that the bare truth is this: of those marriages and families that suffer abuse, it is nearly always the husband/father doing the abusing.

Of course if the shoe is on the other foot, I would feel no different on behalf of the man...

Gary, what you fail to know is that some of us have lived through some of these very same kind of oppressions.
This woman, no doubt as the wife to a pastor, did some heavy soul-searching and praying for her husband to not do those bad things. She probably thought of going to the police, but she also probably thought it would be cutting short God's will. There is a verse in the bible that says "Love covers a multitude of sin."
I am sure this woman suffered and endured many abuses and atrocities with the idea that she would in the love of God, "cover" her husband's sin.
And yet, one day, the lion-hearted love she had rediscovered in herself was for her and for her children, and in an instant did what was in her hand to do.
If I had had a gun in a certain time frame in my life, a timeframe that lasted twelve freakin' long and hideous years, I think I would have used it too. Or maybe now I just wish I had.
