LOL. I am having pork roast tomorrow night, Joe, instead of turkey. Mostly because of my diligence in trying to get my cholesterol down.

However, my clone half will be beaming himself to Ali's dinner table tomorrow.

I meant any day of the year that Ali's brother would be finding two extra guests (with hearty appetites) at her dinner table.
My cholesterol also needs my attention. I've been good lately (according to the doctor)but holidays are days that I do allow myself to cheat some. That's simply because holidays for my family are a really big thing. This Thanksgiving will find me in Louisville, Kentucky; with family (extended) that many I have not seen in almost 20 years. So, yes; I might slip off the wagon just a bit.
Now, I've been keeping my weight down. like a good boy. So Doc might understand if I eat something (a mini-portion) that is on the no-no list.

My weight is down, too. I go to the blood bank on Friday. They take cholesterol readings following my donation. I guess it is the bad cholesterol that my doc is concerned about.

My doctor advocates the weight, blood pressure, cholesterol theory. If your weight is at an acceptable level for your body size, the blood pressure should be in line also. Both will go higher if you don't watch your diet; and the cholesterol level will tell him this. So, I couldn't even tell just a little lie to Doc- he knows if I've been naughty or nice.

Boy, I've not been able to go to the blood bank the last two times I've been scheduled since I've been ill for two weeks.

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was okay. I finally had turkey yesterday - from Healthy Choice. It had roasted sweet potatoes, veggies, and apples. The turkey itself had cranberry sauce over it.

I didn't have it on Thursday as my older sis served pork roast instead. My younger sis is allergic to those gobblers.

T-Day was great for me, H80. Got to see the family that I had not seen in years, and fill in more notes on the family tree my older sister is working on. I didn't even feel the urge to stuff myself at dinner; so Doc will probably soil his pants to find no change in me over the Thanksgiving holiday.
