I tell you: I worked my tail off at Cursillo last weekend. Cooking, serving, washing dishes, praying, getting the dining hall ready for a special meal, etc.

Grilling hamburgers for lunch last week was an adventure, Joe. We used an outdoor grill with four burners. Boy, all that smoke, and most of it got into my eyes. I had to use a wet towel to wipe my eyes off. It was worth the trouble, though.

I was a team leader in this coed Cursillo. Two ladies served under me (oh boy, would I have loved to have Ali on my team), and they worked hard as well. We were a good team. There were two other teams as well.

Back to reality now. I learned an hour ago that my dog (not the one in the avatar) has bone cancer in her leg, so she has a least a month or two left in her precious life. I have to keep her medicated so she can stay comfortable.

((((((((((HUGZ))))))))))) Sorry to hear the news Highway. Is there any type of treatment they can do for her, other then relieving the pain?

Just give her doggie prescription pills to keep her comfortable. My sister says that Mags is happy. So I will have to take a couple of those RX's to Costco and get them filled. She will get a pain pill and a pill to control her kidneys. That's about the best that can be done for her in a space of a month.

The treatment option was to amputate her leg, but that would be the last thing I would want to see done on her.
