Boy, I love to sample the cooking from both of you. How about having a duel between the two of you.

I'm afraid that all I am going to have is lemon-dill salmon with a salad at the ballpark tonight.

Hey, I'm sure the both of us would love having you at our dinner tables.

And having a contest between us would end up in a tie, I believe. Because everyone here that contributes to this thread, not only has their own styles of cooking, but also share a similar taste in the types of foods we like to cook.

Rather then make it a contest...Think all of us should get together and do a 'pot luck' type of meal. Bring our favs and enjoy a bit of everything.

You like your lemon dill salmon don't ya?

Oh, I like just about anything on salmon, Ali. I've used basil leaves and butter, Cajun salmon seasoning, and now I have three marinated salmon fillets from Omaha Steaks in the freezer.

Then you should enjoy this glaze recipe I did up Highway...It's perfect for fish.

Maple-Cherry Glaze

2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3 cup of water
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup maple sugar
1/4 cup chopped marachino cherries
1/4 teaspoon each:salt, pepper, cheyanne, basil, nutmeg
1 teaspoon each:lemon juice, orange juice

Melt butter in small sauce pan, add rest of the ingredients and slow boil till sugar is disolved. Then baste your fish with it while baking/grilling. Reserve a bit of it to pour over the top like a garnish or dip into.

I've been a little busy lately; and have not been able to keep up with all the new posts here. It looks like many more members are starting to discover the joys of good meals!
Anyway, tonight I'm making Tahiti Chicken for my older sister and her family, who are coming to visit today. I'll post that recipe later tonight. I havwen't made this in quite awhile; so I have to go to the store and pick up some of the ingredients.

You knew that I'd like the recipe to that eh? ROTFLMAOL!

Tell you what...I'd rather cook then eat out any day of the week. Food is fresher, made to our specific likes/dislikes, and ALOT cheaper in the end.

Only part that sucks is having to wash, dry, and put up all the dishes. ROTFLMAOL!
