I'm getting tired of our politicians buying votes with the taxpayer's money.

As for sharing my views:

Abortion - I am definitely anti-abortion, I am not pro-life, I believe in and support the use of the death penalty. Abortion should be restricted to save the physical health of the mother, and in the cases of rape and incest if the mother so desires.

Healthcare - Privatize. Government run healthcare is a recipe for disaster. Working in the healthcare profession I already know several physicians who refuse to take patients that have medicaid/medicare. (1) Because the government sets the price for what the can charge and be reimbursed for doing. (2) Government limits what a provider can order based upon diagnosis. (3) If the patient cannot pay the bill not covered by the government, the provider cannot refuse to treat the patient, instead they must take the loss. You know what, government does the exact same things that pirvate companies do but yet they are evil for doing.......so what is the government????

Gun Control - There are some 10,000 gun control laws in existence today, enforce them. We do not need new laws, nor do we need laws that restrict the right of law abiding citizens from purchasing firearms for protection and hunting. Gun Control only limits the non-criminal, the criminal already breaks the law, so impose new laws just add to the laws they already break.

Gay Rights - Society has the right to pass laws that are for the betterment of the society, that reflect the social mores and work to enhance the future of said society. If that means passing laws that reflect marriage to be between a man and a woman so be it. Gays are not oppressed when it comes to being considered a privilege class. They have economic freedom, political clout, and do not show a history of overt oppression. They are not seeking equal protection but rather special protection.

Illegal Immigrants - First we need to secure the border and make it harder for those trying to sneak accross. Second, any city that wishes to be a Sanctuary City should be allowed to do so, however, they should lose all federal funding as a result. While it is a federal issue, local law enforcement should also be charged with helping to combat the problem. If they knowingly release an illegal immigrant they should face charges. We need to stop the ROR on deportation candidates. Unless someone is seeking asylum if they are found in this country illegally they should be immediately deported to their home country. If they wish to legally immigrate to this country let them follow the process. If they return illegally again, they should be prohibited from legal immigration.

Iraq - We should finish the job and then leave. Let the military do its job, and quit politicizing the issue. This Congress has not accomplished a single thing to speed up the military's mission. This mission has been a cluster F*&k from the conclusion of the initial assault the wiped out the Iraqi Army. More pressure needs to be put on the new Iraqi government and the Iraqi people to take charge of their own destiny. Our troops need to be allowed to engage and hunt down the insurgents.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

Abortion:
Both pro-life and pro-choice. Against abortion on moral grounds though outlawing abortion just does more harm than good. Late-term abortions should be illegal though.

Healthcare:
Full universal, not-for-profit healthcare system (Hillarycare won't solve anything). We need to get insurance companies completely out of the equation. The American people shouldn't be cash crop.

Gun Control:
Limited control. Current laws are satisfactory enough, now it's just an enforcement issue.

Gay Rights:
Equal treatment under the law is all they're asking, and I don't have the right to withhold equal protection under the law. Beyond that, it's none of my business who loves who.

Illegal Immigration:
Against illegal immigration: no human being should be 'illegal'. In support of amnesty and/or path to legalization.

Iraq:
Pull out. Shouldn't be playing 'empire' at the expense of the lives of US soldiers and countless Iraqis. No economic gains are worth the price in blood, no matter how outstanding.

Blah, I'm not too fond of short bumper sticker answers but I'm tired.
