This kind of shit is offensive to everything that we define as American. If you're too fat you can't get served? If a law like this ever got passed, I would definitely move to another country. I guess the ACLU has its purpose after all.

There was a charismatic minister living in La Jolla a few years ago. She was on TV a few times in San Diego. One time, an obese man came up to her and asked for money so he can eat.

Passing a law than bans serving obese people at resteraunts is beyond unthinkable. The fact that it has actually come up (legally) really bothers me. What the fuck will be next?

Well, on that note, a lot of us know about Senator Craig of Idaho. And his "adventure" in a Minnesota men's room. Funny how that would play into a TV show.

I agree, PN. I can't possibly think of any restaurant or eatery that would think of denying service to a "fat" person who has money to pay for his meal. Isn't the money the reason the restaurant was opened in the first place?
Anyway, who decides what the definition of fat, overwieght; and obese? The manager of the restaurant? Would people have to weigh in at the door; or bring a permission slip from their doctor?
Whomever even came up with this idea has way too much time on their hands! I wonder just how much they weigh?
