As should be the fate of those who insist on weirding-off in public under the guise of "freedom of speech." Fuck their rights! Nobody gives a fuck about mine, and, I even pay taxes.

Are you a weird freak demanding your right to weird-off in public? If not, you should take no offense to the post.

I don't think so. I guess I'm OK.

Another nutty lawsuit forthcoming. Sheesh!!!!
I beg to differ. This guy does own the rights to his creative work in making "The Naked Cowboy" a New York icon.

M&M Mars most certainly pays out millions of advertising bucks each year. Why should they be able to profit off something that this guy created without compensating him?

$6 million may seem excessive but if they had offered him compensation in the first place instead of using his idea without permission then they probably would have gotten off much cheaper. Now they have courts and lawyers involved so the price tag goes up.

Not to mention that they will probably settle for much under $6 million but much over what they would have paid if he had asked for, say, $1 million.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

After reading the article, I agree. MM Mars is screwed. $6 million for a local performer is kinda steep IMHO though. I've never head of the guy. We'll see where it goes.

Puh-leese! I live in a small town and we used to have our very own crazy nearly naked guy.

They sent him to the area mental hospital every few months where he would stay for about six weeks then come home, strip to his underwear, go downtown and act weird. Then they would send him to the area mental hospital.....ad infinitum.

He finally died -- complications of diabetes, I think.

They were too nice. If they would have beat the shit out of him, he probably wouldn't have kept coming back.

.
There is such a gray area when defining "creative work" and just plain weirding off.

Beating someone because their ideas and values differ from yours solves no problem, PN; it only brings more problems for the assaulter. Does anyone think they should just assault their boss at work because they disagree with them? What would be the result?
If the person suffering from mental defect; what would happen to the assaulter? Why not just follow legal procedure and arrest the person? A competency hearing could have the person commited to a mental institution if need be.If no mental incapacitation existed;why not put this person in the general prison population for say; six months in a state prison? The inmates would probably give the wierdo a better lesson in sex education than you or I could ever do.

I'm not talking about someone whose ideas and values differ from mine. I talking about just plain and simple weirding off. Tolerance has its limitations too. Beating the shit out of someone can solve more problems than you think.
