People don't just choose to go out and molest children, it's an urge that they eithor can't control, or won't.

Hell, it seems women can't control themselves even in the face of pregnancy. They HAVE to screw something instead of just being celibate until the pregnancy risk is more acceptable.

Or maybe the sexual drive is a strong one no matter what orientation it is aimed. And in some people they have a genetic/hormonal/physiologic aberration that distorts their sexual "view" of the world.
