trusted you and told you they have been abducted by aliens and taken onto their space ship for experimentation?

Have you personally know someone who have seen an alien? A UFO?

Have you personally seen an alien or what you thought was a UFO?

I can only answer yes to the first question. I worked with a Sergeant from MA in a security program at Ft. Bragg and we became friends after years working together. This guy was a very stable person neither religious or otherwise, no extremes indicated by his day to day life. Before joining the army he played lots of ice hockey and maybe took some hits from the puck but seemed as normal as any person I'd ever met. The guy, like me had a top secret security clearance with a full background investigation so I thought this guy is as normal as I... One day he told me of an incident when he and another person were on the beach alone and suddenly a UFO hoovered above them and beamed them up in a way he didn't explain that clearly. He explained while in the craft he was what felt similar to an intoxicated state ... still aware but not in control of his or his surroundings. Yes, I asked if he had been drinking and he said no he was like 17 or 18 when this happened. I felt a little weird because he could see the doubt in my eyes and he instantly said, look I understand if you don't believe me, if it were you telling me I wouldn't believe you either if it were the other way around... so I tell him to go on which he does as I watch his expressions to see if he ever got to the point where the punchline came saying I really got good this time... but it didn't come...

I guess this is a dumb thread since people call people that see aliens mentally imbalanced, yet there are many reports by quite stable people of encounters with unexplainable UFOs... AF pilots, airline pilots and others see objects that defy know physics phenomenon. We enjoy programs like Men in Black and others that present the possibility yet desire to restrict ourselves to our knowledge that has been somehow proven.

Yes, but I think we need to get off the notion that all aliens have big heads, big eyes, and scrawny little bodies.

So, this snake in the Amazon tells this other snake I've seen white men and I've seen them live in tall buildings together like ants... the other snake that has never been out of the Amazon ridicules the former pet snake and says everyone knows humans are rare and if they do in fact exist they are brown.

I was talking to an older black man who lived near where they were filming "True Blood." I started talking about the movie and the man interrupted me and said "Thank God." I asked why he said that. He said "I was driving late on night through (the town) and I saw this guy in the back of a pickup, and when he smiled at me, he had vampire teeth. When I told my wife about it, she said I was crazy and needed to shut the hell up about seeing a vampire."

Apparently, he had seen an extra from True Blood who was f'in with him by smiling with his prosthetic fangs.

I hope that's what happened ...

The man was very relieved.

My experience happened while I was going to sleep in bed, my door was open and you could see the front door just from where I was laying. That one small rectangular piece of glass in the upper middle was where I saw the face. And it was looking directly at me, and not in a nice way. I didn't see any teeth or anything. The face was just really white and the eyes were menacing. I'll never forget it. I closed my eyes and told myself that there was nothing there, and waited a few seconds before I opened them back up. When I did, it was still there. I was 15.

I live very close to an air force base, and since I can't tell one plane from another, I've personally seen thousands of unidentified flying objects.

All I can say is what I saw in the movie "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind" and from the X-Files. Otherwise, I never have talked to someone who met an alien from outer space or even met an unearthly alien myself. But I sure wish I had.
