| I'm an omnivore. I love meat and veggies. Got a nice roast in the crock pot right now resting on a nice bed of celery potatoes and carrots.

I did try to cut out meat about 20 years ago, and I only made it 2 weeks. My husband would freak if I quit making pot roast, or chicken pot pie, or sausage and peppers, etc. So would my girls. |

| I'm way overdue for a good steak and asparagus ... hoping to get one tonight. Since both my sons have moved away, I don't cook the big meat dishes that I used to cook. |

I watched a series on where our food comes from on the Green channel, seeing those chickens get put on that conveyor for slaughter was....deep. Still love chicken wings though. I just think a little bit more about where they come from.

A carrot is a form of life is it not? You must kill the carrot before you eat it. |
