Unless there is some component I am un aware of, I believe it is tie rods, not tire rods. They have nothing to do with the tires other than being an integral part of the steering controls. Which really involves the wheels more than the tires... Not trying to be a dick, just making things clear.

yes sir you are correct it was the inner tie rod end that came appart. I had to go back and re-read, to see the extra r in RHS posts. My mind saw tie because I know he's a car guy I guess.
