I think it's a great idea.



I would say a combination of attitudinal and existential.
But then a possible counter is "What does your plan do that people can't already do on their own?"

Our plan gives back the $8.5 mil through pork-barrel funding to regain 500,000 participants but because it's got a 4-1 return on invested dollar all spending disads are knocked out. We claim like 15 advantages, including democracy, racism, classism, social capital, heg, econ, environment, education, teen pregnancy, and some others that I can't remember right now.

When I was in high school debate, we had a time limit of 8 minutes to read our plan, typically giving proof of our claims at various steps like our Observations and our Advantages.
It sounds like you'd have to train as an auctioneer to get through your proposal!

I've always been a fan of some form of youth civil service.

Exactly. With the (up to 15) advantages, I read pretty damn fast. But I love it.
