Your side that you want has nothing to do with this article. It talks about how if the wife stays home instead of working, more can be done around the house such as chores ect.. And bringing a positive enviroment into the household and can result with the husband providing a healthier and wealthier surrounding for the wife.
You bring in this question completly unrelated about how it would be if the husband was wealthy.....you went the wrong way from the start....Why not ask "What would it be if the husband stayed home and did it all and the Wife worked?" THAT would of made more sense Gary, not this money issue that you seem to be interested in.

Nope that wasn't what I said!

Did you learn English as a second language? Or was it the third??

My original question was why this article didn't point out the advantages to a woman of being a stay-at-home wife.

The title was:

Housewives make their men healthy and wealthy

Why not

Hard-working husbands make their stay-at-home wives healthy and wealthy

However, where's the part that explains how housewives benefit from being married to successful career husbands??
I dont quite see where you mention ADVANTAGES of a STAY-AT-HOME wife in the above quote Gary. I see benefits from being married to a successful career husband. You tossing in the "successful career husband" part makes your statement pointless because the article said nothing about a successful career husband. Just that a housewife can seemingly do more at home then with another job.
The title was:

Housewives make their men healthy and wealthy

Why not

Hard-working husbands make their stay-at-home wives healthy and wealthy
Twist the Title around all you want, the article is focused on how women at home help the family more, not the husband. The Husband making more money and a healthier home is an EFFECT from the housewife staying home not doing it on his own

Because we already know that?
Because that wasn't what they studied?

Why not?

Apart from the obvious answer of pandering to a female audience??

So if they changed the title how you wanted, and changed the article how you wanted, wouldn't that then be pandering to a male audience?

Well he figures that if both sides had equal articles they would have EQUAL RIGHTS to the arguement...wow Gary if both sides had equal rights this would all go away, sounds like another topic you fail to capitalize on.

Personally I found the article to be affirming. That IF a woman chooses to not pursue work outside the home, she is just as vital in that endeavor as any other she might decide to be and do. And to me it essentially affirmed that choice . . though a choice it ought to be.

I love the movie, Mona Lisa Smile and from it this is a favorite quote of mine:
"Not all who wander are aimless. Especially not those who seek truth beyond tradition, beyond definition, beyond the image. "

Yes.

But if they did that there would be a howl of protest from all you girlies who would start whining about sexism and discrimination!

OD predictably falls for the female-pandering tone of the article, and completely omits any reference to men being "affirmed" (whatever the hell that means!)
