Greed is why we should at least consider Communism. America could be controlled by communism and there is evidence that supports it and, yes, I'll have to admit it, there is proof that it wouldn't work either. I think if we divided the states and ran them individually but still as a nation. Then there would be a higher probabillity of it succeeding, right?

........sorry about the spelling and all that, it has been a long day and i want to fall asleep right about now.

Communism did work for a time in the old Soviet Union. Yet it cost many people their lives with them dying in labor camps, aka the Gulag. Women in dresses were forced to built that one canal, for which Stalin rode on later. At same time, Stalin complained that it was too shallow, but then he switched to something else.

Reagan helped destroy the communist way of life in the old Soviet Union. Yet it still remains true to form in Cuba, mainland China, North Korea, and later, Venezuela (if whathisname goes off the deep end).

If communism were to ever happen in the USA, be it long after it is time for me to go to Heaven.

I think you'd have a hard time proving that communism ever worked anywhere. It all actuality, it's never truly been seen.

There are less strict forms in other countries. And Stalin wasn't that great of a leader anyways.

When I took political science in college, we in the professor's class were given an assignment on what kind of government we would choose for Transylvania.

I was pretty much set on going with the kind of govt. we now have in the USA. When a classmate and I discussed it, I reread the assignment.

So instead of a democracy, one of my classmates chose a communist govt., while I chose a demorcratic centralism government. That bordered on communisim, and was probably the way East Germany was governed. After all, they were called the Democratic Government of Germany.

Their neighbors, of course, were the Federal Govt. of Germany, known then as West Germany. (I think we all knew that).

That might be the way mainland China is governed.

You're right on target about Stalin. He was no better than Hitler.

Most governments fail BECAUSE of people like Stalin, if there were some decent leaders, than yeah, i think it could work.

Alright, there are flaws, but if a good leader was put forth, do you think it could work?
