Ah! So black people are obviously inferior in might b/c they were so easily brought. That's worse. And worldwide, I don't know any countries (outside of Africa, and even there it's iffy) where blacks are considered equal. It seems to me that it is a standard thing, racism against blacks...so by your logic it must be normal.I know women who won't fight for black rights b/c black men are often sexist. Can't say as I blame them...it's their fight...

Yes, it sounds to me like fx is the one with a superiority complex and that he is probably overcompensating for some other "short"coming.

Just because something has been a certain way, doesn't mean that is the way it should be. Or that it is the correct way. It means that those with the physical strength have not had a problem abusing those who were physically weaker. And if you go back far enough in history, you would find evidence of egalitarian civilizations. They did in fact exist.

And his endowment is exactly what I was referring to! A probable shortcoming that he is overcompensating for.

Racism is a standard thing..period. And it's not only suffered by blacks. If you would leave this country for a while, you will see that plenty of racism and classism is pretty much also standard for humans. Even among white people, there is a form of racism. A white guy that talks and acts "southern" is looked down upon in the northern states. I met a young white girl from Missouri who was well-to-do and called poor white people "Hoosiers". So "people" will assign a level of respect to anything that is different.

So are white women inferior for being in a huge proportion of the porn movies? What a bunch of sluts huh. Friggin white sexual pincoushions from all different countries allowing all those men defile them on camera like that. I guess white women just have weak minds and morals.

I never said that there was no racism against blacks, but there is racism against all races in different places.

Yes, men and women are different. But that does not make one sex superior over the other.

I didn't use the word "superior".



We do have traits that are meant to be complimentary. I for one have no problem with a woman staying home and raising children while the man works. And it should only be because it is what the woman has decided is right for her own life, not an inescapable choice that directs the entire course of her life. And it shouldn't be at the cost of the family's financial security.

Again, at least some women have that choice. Very few men get to choose to be a stay at home Dad.




Sweden actually pays a salary to whichever parent decides to stay home with the kids.

Fathers get some paternity leave when their children are born in most EU countries.



The problem I have is that we are devalued for our strengths. Our strengths are put down as just women's work or we are told that we are ONLY capable of being mothers and housewives, which is utterly false and completely ridiculous.

I agree.

The fact that only women can be mothers, and they make the best Mums, is a strength not a weakness.

Why not revel in your uniqueness instead of belittling it?


And physical strength does not make a man superior to a woman, it gives him the ability to use might over right if he so chooses. And that is why women have been placed in subordinate positions in the past. Not because it was the natural way of the world.

Semantics.

Women are better than men at many things, and the corollary is also true.

I don't see many women working in coal mines but I'd much rather have a female nurse giving me a bed bath than some dude. Especially if she's cute.
