I know there have been civilizations led by women, there have also been civilizations that practiced human sacrifice. But the human standard otherwise has been with the men leading the women.

That is not the human standard, no matter how many times you say it. If it were, then the United States would be deviant, wouldn't it? It does allow for the future to be different from the past because of the careful wording and thinking of the framers when they wrote the Constitution. Even though at the time, women didn't have the right to vote. And we can continue to progress because of it.

The U.S. was founded on deviance. Genocide, thievery, and slavery? Not a good start. And women's rights came later.

So then it's okay to keep things the way they were? You cannot see that even with all the out and out immorality that we have been involved in, that we might learn and grow and change over time? We should stay the way we were begun, with slavery, genocide and treachery?

The only thing that has not changed; WT, is that we (Blacks and women) can change our individual circumstances. The ones that want to do so will; and the others won't. That's what I've been saying from the start.

Exactly. And that we have been given the legal recourse to keep ourselves from being enslaved and disenfranchised as we were in the past.

What CEO that you know does any heavy lifting? And I am the one doing everything when my husband's back goes out and he is laying on the floor for a week. I think many women have become tired of trying to have a successful career at the expense of their family. Because even when women work full time, they still shoulder the burden of most of the chores at home as well. We have come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.

How many Carly's are there? Most women aren't earning that much, and couldn't afford a housekeeper. I'm not making excuses at all. Does your wife work? Who does the most housework between you two? And who does the cooking? I work, and I still do all that because I work part time, but my husband doesn't feel the need to contribute to the chores part time, like I contibute to the finances. Unfair. But not unfair enough for me to disrupt my children's lives over. I am not that selfish, I wish my husband wasn't either.
