| Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4th, 1961. His father, Barack Obama Sr., was born and raised in a small village in Kenya, where he grew up herding goats with his own father, who was a domestic servant to the British. Barack's mother, Ann Dunham, grew up in small-town Kansas. Her father worked on oil rigs during the Depression, and then signed up for World War II after Pearl Harbor, where he marched across Europe in Patton's army. Her mother went to work on a bomber assembly line, and after the war, they studied on the G.I. Bill, bought a house through the Federal Housing Program, and moved west to Hawaii. | im not eing to any thread just giving my thoughts: obama just aint got no hooks in the ground (America) i mean like a smooth pinball in a mosheene that has no grip behooves me why someone that has cancer wants to b and possibly die in public office except to cost america a bunch of monies or to allow his wife to assume the prez office after hes thu dyin or becomes incompitant. if she his wife wants the prez why dont she drag her name in I like to vote democcrative law and thats one reason i ck out the circle around anyway if you cant get close to the democcrative law the rest of the world demands us to stay within you nor anyone else will get my vote....musica........possum........catheriwa8.... |

| Thanks Jaaa for that insightful and hard-hitting analysis of Barack Obama. It really was very thought-provoking, though admittedly only one thought came to mind and it involved a chuckle and a very long yawn. Wow, when this article was written, who would have thought that Barack Obama had the ability to take on the Clintons and as of now is actually besting them? Just amazing. |

Sure I disagree with him on a couple of things, but for the most part he does speak the truth about this country and I'm glad he has the cojones to stand up and shout from the pulpit even if what he says sometimes isn't sugar-coated and sterilized for easy consumption. | |
