| Candidate's Klan Ties Roil Florida Race
In a big year for race in politics, a 19-year-old’s election to—and ban from—Palm Beach’s Republican committee has hate groups and their opponents up in arms far beyond Florida, the New York Times reports. Voters chose Derek Black, the son of a noted Klansman who made little mention of his white-supremacist views during the race. Now the committee chair has found a way to void the election of Black on a technicality.
Sid Dinerstein—singled out on a KKK website as "another filthy, stinking Jew"—held that Black’s failure to sign a loyalty oath disqualified him. The case had taken on larger overtones last month when Black, at a rally organized by David Duke, made reference to Obama and suggested that white people could take the country back by winning local elections. "We can infiltrate," said Black, who compared his campaign to George Wallace's resistance to desegregation.

| Whereas even fathers of 5-year-old boys would like already be a Klan member, since their father is one himself. And whatever the 5-year-old says says something to a colored person or whatever the KKK thinks, the father would say, "That's my boy." Ugh and double ugh!!
