| Per the graphic in the op, and not per anyone's personal conclusions, I do not find it stupid to have "imaginary friends" anymore than believing that all you can perceive empirically and reasonably is really all there is. Perhaps it is so. But perhaps it is not. And perhaps many an individual has lived life more fully and more sweetly and more passionately for having an imaginary friend,so to speak. I do believe that when folk gather in the name of a religion to presumably give worship and obeisance to that same imaginary friend, they end up with their own agenda and give credence to it in the name of that "friend" and that is the trouble aisi. And the only trouble. Heck, my believing in Jesus has helped me get a good night's sleep many a time when I otherwise would have felt totally alone and without hope or love.
