It's mine, too.

Last year Spencer and Quinn did Spiderman and Superman, respectively (do you have any idea how hard it was to put enough gel in Quinn's hair to get it to stay in that Superman style?!?!? LOL That kid has a HEAD of hair!!!).

This year, I'm not sure. I'm thinking Captain Hook and Peter Pan.

One year me and the three older boys did The Wizard of Oz. That was a bunch of fun!!!

My sister does not deal with trick or treaters. Always make the dogs bark. So she leaves the lights off on the front porch.

One year I dressed as a skeleton. Went over very well.

My kids are too old to dress up for trick or treating. But not too old to dress up for moms haunted driveway. My son is our 'pet' werewolf. He sits SO damn still and quite next to a tree, that most people figure that he's not real. Until they get close. Then he 'comes to life snarling and growling and MOVING! It's hysterical.

He doesn't do it to the little kids. Just the teenagers.
Bother not the cat. For they are sneaky and will piss on thy keyboard.

I remember as a kid there was a house a couple blocks over that went all out on Holloween. The older kids of the family would dress up as zombies and chase kids all over the neighborhood, black lights, fog, scary music, the works.

I'm thinking of getting Nick to do that this year. He would get such a kick out of it, and he loves kids so.

Go for it Knot! It's fun! We set up the candy in a net suspended over a bowl of water and dry ice. The kids have to reach in and get their treat, which they can't see through the fog. Sometimes, they get candy. Sometimes, they get a severed doll part. I had one kid who wanted to keep his blood stained Barbie arm rather than trade it in for a candy bar!

Last time my friend and I were both witches. My daughter was our cat. She would sit in the driveway and let the kids 'pet' her and purr.

OMG, one year I took my cousin out and this family had set up a walkie talkie in one of the pumpkins on the porch. My cousin, who was about 4 at the time, had a half hour conversation with this pumpkin, then at every house after that he would walk up to the pumpkin and say 'Do you talk?'

LOL. Usually my hubby is our hunchback. This year he's going to be our scarecrow. We're dressing him up and erecting a 'cross' in the yard. He's going to stand perfectly still like he's hanging from the cross, and then when the kids go past him, he'll 'come to life' and follow them.

Again, teenagers only.
