I wasn't talking about gays directly. I was just talking about the concept of extending rights and why there needs to be boundaries sometimes.

it's not discussed because it is understood that the HISTORICAL definition of married sex for 'normal' people does not include any of the above. so perhaps none of us should be married...

That's a profound statement. I like that.

It's the direct opposite of my "I want to know "why" people are gay before they should be allowed to "marry". I don't see allowing what is an obvious defect to share the term with heterosexuality. Your question is starting with homosexuality and working backward. While I start with what we know has a reason and purpose and go forward. It would be like asking "I have yet to hear a solid argument "why" men shouldn't have sex with sheep".
