Looks like a full endorsement of Ron Paul to me.

The post mentions schools: Fact is many schools depending on where you live in the country have degraded for the children for more than the last thirty years. As much as anyone would like to place that blame on Republicans alone it would be total BS to do so. From an Uncle that finished Highschool without being able to ever read to my own son with dislexia that a school claims had finished highschool though he had not. That is well over a thirty year span just between the two of them.

The uncle graduated HS in CA well over sixty and still can't read. He has that diploma though. CA was Dem and Rep through his years of school.

The son quit school in IA at the ninth grade. IA definately Dem. Although they claim son graduated in IA. Any clue why?

In Idaho when my children were in school the HS principal had that college BS doctrate. Shoot the man had worst spelling than my son when he was in first grade. Oops, Idaho was a majority Dem state in those years.

When I looked into tha matter back in the years my children went to school it was obvious that the larger share of the money went to colleges. K-12 has to work creatively shuffling paper and children through to get that almighty dollar. Politics rule the school with favors and positions. The kid's suffer.

Each community has school boards and that is where those problems have to be addressed first.

I don't know any illiterate people. And I live in Ga which ranks near the bottom of the country. My mom went to school in rural Ga and still got an education. So I really can't agree with the above post. I feel that anyone that wants an education will seek it out. Then you have "other" that wouldn't learn the alphabet at Harvard.

And it was also "traditional" to wipe your ass with a corn cob in them days.

Do we really want that?
Maybe the corncob should come back as a method of wiping your ass.

The mediaeval writer Rabelais recommended a goose for that purpose:

"Afterwards I wiped my tail with a hen, with a cock, with a pullet, with a calf's skin, with a hare, with a pigeon, with a cormorant, with an attorney's bag, with a montero, with a coif, with a falconer's lure. But, to conclude, I say and maintain, that of all torcheculs, arsewisps, bumfodders, tail-napkins, bunghole cleansers, and wipe-breeches, there is none in the world comparable to the neck of a goose, that is well downed, if you hold her head betwixt your legs. And believe me therein upon mine honour, for you will thereby feel in your nockhole a most wonderful pleasure, both in regard of the softness of the said down and of the temporate heat of the goose, which is easily communicated to the bum-gut and the rest the inwards, in so far as to come even to the regions of the heart and brains." (from Gargantua, 1534)

Incidentally, this post is not off-topic in "Religion". Rabelais started off as a Franciscan monk, but petitioned the pope (Clement VII) to be allowed to join the Benedictines instead.

You still use toilet paper? Are you telling me you don't know how to use the three seashells?

She wouldn't notice, provided you hosed it down afterwards.
