Do Adam and Eve have belly buttons?

The Jewish legend is that Adam had a wife before Eve, called Lilith. Lilith wouldn't let Adam subjugate her, because she pointed out that they were created at the same time and were therefore equal.

Well, OK, God didn't really do that. He turned her into a baby-eating demon who stalks pregnant women instead.

There are lots of references in the various Talmudic writings, and in the Zohar (the major Kabbalistic work).

Without reading any of this thread, Id have to say there is a good possibility that Adam and Eve in fact did not have belly buttons. Good question though.
