| My grandmother's first name was Welcome. But she went by her middle name, Weltha. If at first you don’t succeed – try, try again and then quit. There’s no sense in making a damned fool of yourself. – W.C. Fields | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Truth!!! I never thought about it being funny before, but my daddy's dad, which means my grandpa 'ceptin' for how I never met him cos he died of the influenza in 1918 when my daddy was only knee high to a grasshopper himself, well all the same, his name was Bernt. Can you imagine if it was time for him to "give a toast" at a party and needed the nudge, if someone would have said, "Bernt...the toast!!!" OhDear | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Grace, I don't mean to condemn him, but he condemned the people that brought these allegations to light. And truth be told, they may have really been grieved in their heart to be compelled to do so. And I do think it a strange thing that God said this and I do quote it from Garysher's OP that was a c&p : " Quote:
Okay see here it says this: " Quote:
I had no earthly idea that God would speak in the second person like that, and say "WE live in a litigious society. . . blah, blah, blah..." I would not have thought God counted himself as living in this society since he even did tell the believer that we are in the world but not of the world and we are to pray for God's will on earth even as it is in heaven. Do you suppose that even in heaven there is a litigious society? Must be that ol' accuser of the brethren doing the celestial rounds again ... OhDear

Im not saying he isnt dumb for saying God spoke to him. All Im saying is it is possible that he is in fact innocent, and that would make his acuser's Liers. We wont know anything till the facts come out.

I just think that if a man is not guilty of those allegations he would come out and say so, rather than use the smokescreen of a "litigious society." ... and note, even God did not say he was innocent, only to deny guilt. That would be like if one of my kids was accused of smoking in the girls' room at school. And I would say to her, "Deny it to the principal." And go on to explain that she ought to deny it cos those darned teachers and hallway monitors are just out to try to make trouble for all the students. When in fact, a good parent would only say"Tell the truth." And that meaning to deny guilt only if one is NOT guilty. "God's explanation" made him appear truly very guilty imho. And I do wish it wasn't so. I think you and I are in agreement Grace. I only struggle with presumption of guilt at this point, cos he is playing the God card and that quite ineffectively at that. | And on that we agree. Has there ever been a case where an executive has been brought up on charges such as this and been exonerated?
