Biblicaly speaking the poster is spot on. It seems everyone has to answer the question "who is Jesus". Jesus did say whoever isnt with me is against me. Call it condemnation if you want, but thats what he said. Most people hate truth.

"Bibicaly speaking?"

Like the parts of the Bible where Jesus calls God not only "my" Father but also "your" Father and "our" Father?

Or the part where He said, "as I see, I judge, and my sentence is just, because I seek no my own will but the will of the one who sent me."

Or, the part where Jesus prayed?

Why in the Blue Blazes would God pray to Himself?

It all relitive bro. He also said "I and the Father are one". John said "He was in the world, and the world was MADE by him, but the world knew him not." Genisis, says "in the begining God created the heavens and the earth". The bible says Jesus Christ is the image of the living God. Isaiah said he would be called wonderfull, councler, the everlasting Father, the all mighty God. In Revelations he said " I am the first and the last, the begining and end of all things" Why you ask? I dont know.

Actually, the verses in Isaiah and Revelations don't refer to Jesus... at least not Jesus of Nazereth.

Many of the O.T. prophecies some Christains say refer to Jesus actually do not.

For one thing, Jesus isn't the "Prince of Peace."

"Think not that I come to bring peace, but rather a sword..." Sound familiar?

The title Prince of Peace rightfully belongs to another.

Anyhoooo...I spent quite a lot of my youth in the teaching of such groups as Campus Crusade for Christ, who, btw, love that supposed "Lord, Liar or Lunatic" cunondrum. So, you're probably not going to tell me anything I don't already know... and know how to refute.

Bottom line is, Christ was God manifest, not God incarnate. And Jesus of Nathereth was nothing more (or less) than a man.

Hence the numerous verses of self-effacement, like the one I cited.
Taken in it's entirety ... and not just the verses Campus Crusade likes to cite ... Jesus' teaching on these matters seem contradictory...as He says he's NOT God about as many times as he supposedly says He IS God.

Like the part where He's standing right in front of a bunch of people and says, "Nobody has seen God."

Ive have litteraly years of study on this subject. The Bible clearly teaches Jesus was God in the flesh. But to each his own bro. Believe what you want, America is great that way

Jehovah's Witness teach that he did not say that he was God (Jehovah) but rather that he was a god, in other words, an angel. They believe that the word Jesus used was mistranslated and that he was indeed Jehovah's first born son, the first angel that was created.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

The only problem with that is, they dont know who translated the scripture.

When I read the Living Bible one time, the name Jehovah was often used in that translation. If you have a parallel bible, maybe that translation is in there. If not, maybe you can go to your nearest Christian book store and see if they have one. Or through this website: Essential Evangelical Parallel Bible Hardcover

That is in one of the statements Jesus made when He spoke saying, "I and my Father are one" John 10:30
