Religion What is your take on religion? Do you base your thoughts in life according to your religion? Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics?

One more post, Let me present some paper work that was photocopied and passed out among my son's elementary school students. Concerning dinosaurs. My son's project was to find "facts" about his assigned creature. To begin his journey they gave him a Title page with the following print emboldened upon the topic "FUN FACTUALS" THE STEGOSAURUS. It goes on to say that this creature was 9ft. tall and weighed 7000 pounds...etc. It existed 150 million years ago. REALLY? Is all this facts of science actual as presented to my student son or is it all based upon THEORY? It does seem indeed that many people have FACTS, THEORY, and HYPOTHESIS, confused. And obviously no one knows that a flat out lie is the same as a misrepresentation of what is actually a fact and what is only an "idea" grounded in scientific speculation. But I did enlighten my son, but I wonder how many do not or will not? Ralph

Im affraid many wont Ralph. Back when I was in school, at the begining of the year, my science teacher puts this cup of water by the window. Tells us all that by the end of the year we will find evidence that life will have generated its self inside it. Dontcha know by the end of the year he had these little tad pole looking things swiming around in there. At the time, I didnt even think to question it. Obviously looking back, I cant believe the links that they will go to, to shove this down the throats of children. Even if they have to be down right deceitfull.
