And another thing, when did I claim to you love for anything?
Well, I guess you are simpler then I thought...

Although many aspects of Mary’s life are debatable, we do know that she was a diligent follower of Jesus and the first to witness his resurrection. Only in the past forty years have we revealed that her identification as a prostitute was false, which means that there is still more to learn about this Biblical mystery. With the amount of research and writing being done, it is likely that the future will yield some answers that either put to rest or raise more questions about the life, death, relationships, and apostle status of Mary Magdalene.

Yep, that justisfies terrorism and wife beating all right. Muslims just need another 800 years to start acting civilized.

I know. I've been there. I found out I was pregnant at 40. I thought long and hard on whether to keep him or not. When I was pregnant with my 3rd boy, I was in the middle of a bad marriage on the way to a divorce, was unemployed, and already had a 3 year old and a 2 year old. He was that close to not being here.

You can't possibly know how hard that kind of decision is. And how it will impact you for the rest of your life."

You considered having one yourself. It certainly doesnt seem like your against it.
And that's advocating it?

Prehaps you need to get a dictionary.

Sure it is. Lets say some 18 year old pregnant girl read this. She would have just seen you call her child a cist, and told her she could just go down to the clinic and make the whole problem disapear. Bottom line, its obvious that you feel abortion is ok under certain conditions. Do you think Jesus feels the same about it?

Maybe Mary was a prostitute, no one really knows for sure.
Mary was Jesus's lover and gave birth to daughter of Jesus's blood. Jesus's lineage still lives today and is secretly guarded by the Knights of Templar. EVERYBODY knows this.

I should also like to point out that ISLAM was the FIRST of the abrahamic religions to incorporate a woman's right to heredity into its theology.

The chauvinist culture that is indigenous in many muslim nations is a cultural thing, not sanctioned by the Quran. And as this particular clip also show, there are strict limits to when and/or how a man works things out with his wife. THese "beatings" are only allowed when ALL OTHER AVENUES ARE EXHAUSTED, and even then they are NOT meant to cause pain, but rather to put across the severity of the situation in a symbolic fashion.

Let's not forget that many non-muslims also resort to spousal violence and that beating your wife is STILL faaaar too common in developed nations and was an accepted norm only a few decades ago even in the US.
If you have so much respect for your women, why don't you get them out of those stupid sheets and bhurkas. You never know, you might even have a few hotties there.

Mary Magdalene

MM keep letting that love shine, im litteraly inspired

Well that was nice of them to say so. To bad they didnt actualy give any evidence.

It doesnt matter to me one way or the other wether she was or not. She was redeemed under the blood of Christ for all her sins, regardless of what they were, making her my sister through Christ.

Dear Grace,

I am not meaning to counter so much of what you write here at the DtT. And I am very sure that you and I could stand shoulder to shoulder in a worship service and thank the Lord for taking our lives and giving us His, giving meaning and purpose to our existence, therby giving us fulfillment.

Still I must confess that I weave in and out of so many thoughts that I built up all my life, regarding Christ, regarding God and man.

But I will say that you cannot claim Christ in any very real way, Scripturally especially and say that anything you do has "NOTHING to do with {my} Christianity. " Cos what that sounds like to me is that you are saying that you can turn off and on the life of Christ in you. God's gift of salvation is not a freakin' spicket, Grace!

The revealed salvation of God is Christ. I John 4: 15-18 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

...because as He is, so are we in this world!

But I don't mean these thoughts to accuse you of anything either, just to say that He never leaves us nor forsakes us, so what we say and do and think always belongs to Him first. To Him who has the first cuppa coffee with us in the morning, right through the day.

And, how nice that you haven't been oppressed. Welcome to 21st Century America.
Christianity has, throughout history, done much cultural genocide to whole people groups. Look at the Native Americans even and the history of "using" religion to clean up one's dirty motives in our history.
