"One nation under God" has never been in the Constitution.

I bet you sound incredibly ignorant.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

MoT, while no one is looking, go back and delete the post I quote of yours here.

You see an atheist does NOT believe in any gods. Not just the one you claim to believe in. Thus no one who claims the atheist view would believe in a god from another planet. A = no and theist = believer in god. See what I mean?

Atheists do believe in a god. An alien god from another planet. That created them and made them nuerotic weirdos that are too sensitive for America. Attention all Atheist out there. Your a small group of bitter wackos that will never get the attention you idiots think you deserve. The majority of this country believes in a creator. Get over it, deal with it. We will never take any of your spaced out views seriously. So go kill some babies, and try to shove your empty logic on another country. Try Canada. Maybe they'll fall for that "we are about tolerance" crap. We won't, because those with a mind and eyes can see that you guys aren't about tolerance at all. You guys try to get people to believe what you believe just as you accuse Christians of doing. Hypocrital wastes of time. You can't stand it to see people actually finding peace in something that you can't comprehend. So you label them close minded and ignorant. Sounds like that shoe should be on your foot. Atheists mask their ideology in an outcry for tolerance and diversity. They want everyone to be like them and think like them. At least some Christian pastors teach true diversity and are willing to bridge the gap between all belief systems. You Atheist geeks won't even do that. As if someone who believes in a higher power is somehow beneath your intelligence level. Why? because you guys are control freaks and people put things they can't control in the hands of something bigger? Sounds to me that you don't want diversity and tolerance at all. You just want things your way. Newsflash, if Christians in this country can't then you oddballs surely won't have your way. One Nation Under God. In God We Trust. God Bless America. Stop hassling innocent people that want to remember their loved ones with crosses, stop trying to push your dirt down our throats, and stop making everything about you. Its not about you. Its about all of us. Christians, Buddhists, Hindu, Jewish, everyone. This country is too diverse for you to have everyone think like you. Sorry to give you that bad news. I know you were counting on rising up in some anti-religious revolution. Aint gonna happen cap'n.

Hey...Wait a minute, that God from another planet is totally within the realm of possibility in my belief structure. Leave him alone.

Schiesse! Who put a thumbtack on your chair, Mate?

You certainly have a problem with anger. I betcha you are a danger on the highway. So tell me, while you are out there singing, "God bless the USA" , do you also sport a "Honk if you love Jeezus" bumper sticker?

It's guys like you that make me put a disclaimer after calling myself Christian at all.

Well, I'm not all angry man all the time. I just got really fuckin pissed at those atheist jerkoffs that went after that family in Utah. I hate it when the little guy or innocent people are unfairly targeted. I can stand much in this society. But that my friend I cannot stand. Plus coming from LA i grew up listening to alot of Black Flag and Mike V and the Rats so I have this stand for the workingman, never give up personality.

One more thing MoT...

It is perhaps a little known fact, about control freaks...and I share based on this that citation in your post:
Quote:
Why? because you guys are control freaks and people put things they can't control in the hands of something bigger? Sounds to me that you don't want diversity and tolerance at all. You just want things your way.
A strange fact about controlling people is that they too seek out someone to control them. So in reality, an atheist at least from that premise, is less likely a controller than a theist would be. Since it is the theist that seeks out a "higher authority" to control his or her life.

It is a very strange phenomena to observe close up. And a prime theater for such would be certain fundamental churches. The man of the house a controller/abuser, who then goes to church and Amen's the pastor's every word, sits in the front row and shows up every time there is a service and does whatever the "leadership" requires. All in the hope of someday being in the leadership too.

And sure it is not that way for everyone, but it is a nesting place for control freaks, the fundamental Christian churches. They get around the control feature by joking, instead of saying it's "MY WAY or the highway" they say it's "Jahweh or the highway!"
But in effect, that IS saying "MY WAY" cos they are the one's saying they believe in Him and that they somehow also know what He wills.

So be careful lauding believers and slamming disbelievers as controllers. It seems to me to be just the opposite.

You just settle down and let all that Thanksgiving feasting mellow you out some before you come back and share more spittle, prattle and lies.

Don't get mad at me because those Atheist cocksuckers lie about being tolerant. Its not my fault they are hypocritical brats. All I'm saying is that they get mad at the people who find peace in putting their situation in the hands of someone they believe to be higher than themselves. It brings that individual peace. Why does it get under Atheists skin so much? And I don't mean total control of someone's life. I mean when someone can no longer help their situation, they pray or look up and say "god its up to you to lift me out this illness or poverty". "Show me the way". God gave us a mind and freewill. And we use it. But some older people, drug addicts, and people who are suffering from illness choose to connect deeper with god and find peace and comfort in him. Thats what I meant Ohdear, you jerkoff smartass. I'm just saying that if they choose to find peace in their own god, and find comfort within him and his word then let them be. Don't try to disrupt their lives over something that doesn't concern you in the first place. What are Atheists so afraid of? Why are they so threatened by Christanity and other forms of religion? If that shit don't concern you then fuck off you geeky cumshots. You don't worship fine, its your right to not worship. Just don't try and get in peoples' face for believing in god.

I'm atheist, and I'm fully tolerant of other people's beliefs. But if you're asking for tolerance of intolerance, which you're undoubtedly taking place in right now, then you can forget it.

Not sure if you realize it, but Buddhism is atheist. Sorry.
