Hey Gat, for the 3rd time

I ask you again, do you believe the bible today would have people killed for working on the Sabbath? In light of what you just read? If not, why should I listen to any more lies that are claimed in those blaphamous video's???

The bible wouldn't do anything, it's the leaders of a religion who do things. Just like they don't stone adulterers anymore, but the bible says you can. As far as the laws about the Sabbath, they are pretty clear, and are considered to be very important, at least to Orthodox Jews. They haven't changed their laws an iota, or how they follow them.

The Jews dont follow the bible, just certain old test books. Go bash them for there beliefs. Cause Christ has shown the light on the true meaning of the laws, and would tell anyone who would stone adulterers "let he who has never sinned, cast the first stone". You have to ignore a great deal of scripture to say that a man should be killed for working on the Sabbath, as I have already shown you.

It's always about picking and choosing in the scriptures, isn't it? What you choose to focus on and agree with is okay, but the parts that don't suit people are ignored regularly.

No not even close. Its about having a full understanding of scriptures, and the bible as a whole. You are the one who want to pick and choose scripture to suit what you want to believe.

you may want to talk to these Christians before you ask me the question

Profaning God's Sabbath

The Sabbath

Then there is the Lords Revolutionary Army in Northern Uganda..they actually do put people to death for working on the Sabbath

They sort of think people should be put to death for working on the Sabbath..I know you answer will be they are radicals..thing is the video isn't wrong there are Christians who believe people should be put to death they may not actually carry it out but they believe it.

In the future I'd keep it to the people in my version of the cult derived from what may or may not be the ramblings of semi literate ancient parochials doens't believe that.

Now why did God wait 145,000 years before telling a bunch of semi literate members of an ancient nomadic remote desert tribe about himself..why not just let everyone now from the begining and end all this speculation??

Show me where in history without referencing the book in question some place, some historical document that says the Eygptian plagues actually happened...remember as we are questioning the bible you can't use it or anything that derives it authority from said text in question. The Eygptians were actually fanatical about keeping records so if they happened you've got no problem

Show me using the same formula as above where there is any evidence Noah's Ark was built and the entirer world flodded and how did the Kiwi Bird get its ass to Judea..it can;t fly and it was in New Zealand at the time.

Show me evidence that during the time of Jesus Romans cruxified people...so that'd be 2000 years ago not 1700 years ago...show me where they found some ancient cross from the time of Jesus..some piece of word

please show me your evidence. I've answered your question even though you keep failing to answer mine. Did you really think I didn't know some Christians nutjobs still believe you should be put to death of course there are because none of you agree on any central doctrines..why is God messing with your heads..why not just clear the confusion so you can all agree....someone remote semi literate nomad needs to have a vision

my favourite bit of the bible has always been 1Timothy, 2, 11-12.

Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection. But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness.

its entertaining to watch the semantic and theocratic gymnastics when you point out that the bible instructs us that women are not allowed to teach.

The video isnt saying some christians are repulsive, its claiming the bible is. You are making a argument that didnt exist before this post, as a way to avoid my question. I hardly see how we can move on till you admit (as I have clearly shown you) that you and your video was wrong on the subject of the Sabbath.
