Not every predominantly muslim country operates like Saudi you dope.

But Saudi Arabia certainly isn't the only Islamic country that follows strict Sharia laws, or severely restricts the rights of women in their country. And what is so messed up about that, is that the Quran does not hold women in the same contempt that many of it's followers do.

Ahh but you have to look at what is claimed to be God given brother. The right to life liberty and the pursute of happyness. Thats it. Though they pretty much killed the right to life, the rest still stuck.

Besides, most Americans dont want universal health care. They cant run any part of our goverment without coruption, why would we want to give them a chance to steal even more money from us?

What you are proposing is that we all hand over our guns, and let Goverment have athority over nearly everything. No thanks.

I'd use the word "inherent", not "God-given", since I don't see a man in the sky giving out rghts, but I do believe that as humans we deserve the basic rights of life, liberty, and property. And gary, how is universal health care a right? It's a perk for living in a place that happens to have it.

I'm all for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but what about all the other rights enumerated in the Constitution?

And all the ones people in other countries get that God has denied to Americans??

Besides, most Americans dont want universal health care.

They would if they knew how they are being ripped off!!

They cant run any part of our goverment without coruption, why would we want to give them a chance to steal even more money from us?

You prefer to be robbed by a corporation instead of an entity that YOU elect??

Have another sip of KoolAid my sister!

Why does gun control equate to letting govt have authority over everything?

There is no connection. It's a myth.

You could say that about any rights.

However, universal health care which is free at the point of access is a de facto right in every single industrialised country ( and quite a few less developed countries) on the planet.

Except for the USA

What's your point? I have health insurance, and it works just fine. Plus, when you really need care, all you have to do here is go to an emergency room, and they bill you later. I can't tell you how much money I "owe" the hospital that they will never see.

Sounds pretty similar to the rest of the "industrialised" world to me.

Except it works out far more expensive for Americans.

Somebody has to pick up the tab you run away from at the ER.

And you are paying for other people's health insurance, and the insurance companies profits, almost every time you buy something or pay a bill.

The fact that you are too dim to realise it makes the insurance companies rub their hands with glee.

Let them rub, man. I don't give them a dime.
