That has to be most infantile attempt at trying to twist homosexuality and polygamy into being similar that I've ever heard...

The women in a polygamious marriage DO NOT SLEEP WITH ONE ANOTHER. They only have sexual intercourse with the husband, at seperate times...They have their own beds, and when the husband wants to sleep with a particular one of them, then he invites that one to his bed, or goes to her bed...

Sorry to burst your bubble there, but although both have been around as long as man has exsisted, neither are similar nor do the females in the later engaged in sexual relationships with one another...In fact, that particular sect is very ANTI-homosexual.

you don't know that these women don't fall in love. in fact I would have to believe it's impossible that they never do. either way, it's still a sexual relationship just by the nature that they are tied maritally and raise children.

I think if these women can make a go of it without the males they ought to. and as far as that sect being "anti-homosexual" that means nothing. how many times do we see people who claim to hate homosexuality engaging in it? the men do not know what is going on when they are not in those other bedrooms. this is all I am saying. really this whole setup would work throughout society.

the only thing I am really wondering about is why are there something like 3 girls to every boy child? are they aborting the males to make room for more females for the men to marry? or killing or selling off the older boys? obviously they have to be doing something to keep the numbers of boys low. or else this whole setup doesn't work.

I just want to go on record that I don't like the idea of polygamy OR homosexuality. I don't want people to think I "support" polygamy or child abuse for that matter. Just make sure the government plays fair and aren't hypocritical.

1...Just because you'd like to IMAGINE something is, doesn't make it fact...And the fact is, that IF any member in that sect were to engage in any type of homosexuality, they would be DRIVEN out of the community...Period.

2. Being married to the same man and raising the children from that relationship with the man IS NOT A SAME SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP between the two women. The ONLY WAY to make that claim, is if the women are engaged in sex with ONE ANOTHER BESIDES THE MAN...And that simply isn't the case, no matter how your twisted little brain wants to make it into.

3...There goes your imagination again...Obviously, through your little whimsical 'well maybe it could happen'...Just shows how little you actually know about how things work in such sects....There is not alot of privacy...As well as they do not have doors on the bedrooms, so the 'wife' can lock the husband out in anger...It's part of their 'females must completely submit to the husband's wishes' thingy...

In otherwords, anyone engaging in a homosexual relationship, are quickly caught because there is no privacy in order to do so. And the women are not left 'unattended', there's always someone left to 'babysit' said females.

You can do all the 'that's all I'm saying' you want...But it's nothing more then you wasting your breath and playing in a fantasy game in order to try and link homosexuality/polygamy into one issue...And they're not. PERIOD.

And insisting that it is? Is only showing just how uninformed you like being, and your greater desire of spreading gossip and lies about something you really have no clue about in the first place.

So instead of insisting on showing others how clueless you can be...Why not 'wise up' and admit that your full of hot air and making it up as you go along.

well, perhaps homosexuality bothers you but I say that it is very unlikely that these women do not often feel affection for each other. why are you so disturbed by this?

just because you do not wish it to be so does not mean it isn't happening. you can hide your head in the sand, but do not try to tell me that 7 women married to an ole goat don't get lonely or wish for more sex than the once every one or two weeks (if that) he can allot to them.

and yes, more females are born than males to the tune of 51-49%. but in the LDS community we are seeing a three to one ratio of boys to girls. that is not nature at work.

my only problem is that states that have these sects should pass a law that the age of consent is 18 to cut down on the possibility that young women are forced into anything until they are legally old enough to choose. or at least make it 18 for marriage and 18 to have sex with anyone over 21.

then they can do whatever they want and they are no different than any other non traditional family.
