I have to say that this truly is going to be one of the most interesting cases to watch. not only for the question of mormon polygamy and underaged marriage. but also to see how this will affect other non-traditional family units as well as other religious polygamy in this country. for example Moslems will be watching this case closely as polygamy is permissible to their religion.

just because you do not wish it to be so does not mean it isn't happening. you can hide your head in the sand, but do not try to tell me that 7 women married to an ole goat don't get lonely or wish for more sex than the once every one or two weeks (if that) he can allot to them.

and yes, more females are born than males to the tune of 51-49%. but in the LDS community we are seeing a three to one ratio of boys to girls. that is not nature at work.
ROTFLMAOL!!! Homosexuality bothers me?

ROTFLMAOL!!!

You lie about two seperate issues in order to try and twist them into something they aren't...And because I point out your falsehoods and make-believe, you want to pretend now that I'm 'anti-homosexuality'?

ROTFLMAOL!!! I can't help but laugh at your childish whimseys there kiddo...

YOU ARE LYING about two different groups of people. Nothing more, nothing less.

I happen to be an avid supporter of GLBT movement...Which I know you are very aware of, although you'll do your best to pretend otherwise in order to just keep on LYING and FANTASIZING about things you have no clue about...

In fact, I'd be tickled pink if that particular cult became pro-homosexual and allowed members to marry the person they wanted to, versus being forced into marriages with someone they don't want to be married to.

I personally don't like the lifestyle of this particular cult, as I don't agree with polygamous relationships and many recorded/legal found incidents of child abuse...I won't stand in their way of marrying multiple partners, if it's done between CONSENTING ADULTS only...Leave the children out of it.

But here's the thing...Even though I don't like their particular lifestyle (that of having multiple wives as well as female children marrying against their will)...I don't need to LIE OR FANTASIZE about what they do...

I figure they do enough 'distasteful' things I personally don't like, that one really doesn't need to make up more gossip and actual falsehoods about them...

And that's what YOU are doing...Making up lies about them, in order to feed more negativity towards this group, for no other reason then you are a liar....

You need to grow up kiddo. And start living in reality instead of making bull hockey up about any group or any person who points out your stupidity and falsehoods.

no dear, I haven't made up lies. I'm merely stating that humans are sexual beings, as much as you might think otherwise. homosexuality occurs everywhere, even in Islam where you can be killed for it. to say it never occurs in LDS is silly. very silly and very naive.

But what is concerning me right now are all of the missing boys. did you know that there are 53 girls aged 14-17 and only 17 boys in that age? and that there are groups of boys called "Lost Boys" which are boys kicked out of the LDS community due to overpopulation in some cases? these sects should be required to raise these children to adulthood. no ifs ands or buts. just because some old goat wants all the young girls to himself doesn't mean he can kick out the boys who are starting to show an interest in females. once a boy is 18 if they want to kick him out fine. they have the right then to say which adults can stay. until then they should not be allowed to do this.

Oh yes you have...First saying that they are both the same thing...

Second that the women were engaged in sex because they were married to the same man (and even IF they aren't having sex, they're still homosexual cause they have sex with the same man).

Third you tried to imply that they 'kill off the male children' so they can have '3 girls to every man'...

Then you go further to say that because I point out to you that the cult is strictly homophobic (and take measures to ensure that there are no homosexuals) you then try to make a claim that my pointing out facts to you is I'm anti-homosexual?

You dear, are nothing more then a little, vicious lying gossiper that has nothing better to do then make up stories about situations you have no knowledge about.

Saying 'well maybe it could happen'...'what if'...That darling kiddo is lying. Plain and simple.

Oh, and another thing...Those particular cults also drive out males once they turn 17, in some instances...But to try and spin a story that 'they are killing the male children off' in order to paint a group already looking bad by their own actions?

Again...That is LYING and GOSSIP MONGERING on your own part. You could really care less about what goes on in that sect...You just want to post gossip and your own little filthy imaginings of others and you've picked them out to practice your trolling on.

oh my. since a certain person cannot behave herself and engage in civil conversation she must go on ignore.

I have just as much right to talk about news issues on this board as any.

ROTFLMAOL!!! Go for it...But don't think that will keep from your LIES being pointed out by myself or others either.

Perhaps if you'd learn to tell the truth, instead of making things up about groups or people as well as insisting that your lies should be taken as 'fact'? We wouldn't be having this problem...

But one thing is most people here don't suffer fools or liars...And you dear are a foolish liar of the highest order.

Actually it's a link showing how there are those who make up lies about that sect, just as you are doing, in order to paint the sect in a worse light then they're already viewed.

those fathers needed to be thrown into jail. polygamy is against the law and these men cant even care for their own children. did you know most of them are on aid of some sort? but to take away those bambinos from their mamas is just WRONGO.

well, I don't know if they were on subsistence of any kind, but if they are there is no reason for it. With all those women, one or two should at least be able to work. How many women really need to remain in the house, especially when the children are away learning? to me this kind of structure could really work if half the women worked and the other half didn't. That way if the man turned out to be a lazy good for nothing the women and children won't be lost.

As for jail, well, if the men are going to be imprisoned that puts the women at risk for imprisonment too since they all committed polygamy. so then the women won't be getting those kids back soon.
