I don't. I think this is just one big boondoggle and is just a culmination of persecution of these people that began with the change in the laws.

So you agree with forcing young girls to marry and have sex with dirty old men?

So says you. *SIGH*

It is not persecution. It was child abuse. Underaged girls having sex with older men. That is statutory rape right there. How can it be persecution? They were dealing with the health dept. in Texas and other law agencies. No way it is persecution. Do you think that it would be persecution if the Branch Davidians did the same thing with older men having sex with girls under 18? Like they were 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17?

The only people who would persecution are the followers of the FLDS themselves. You can twist it any way you want. You think God is okay with that? And I don't mean their God.

Haven't seen any proof of anyone forcing anyone to do anything yet. Just over 400 kids, boys and girls, being taken from their home under false pretenses. That I don't agree with.

I don't see proof of anyone forcing anyone to do anything. I do see laws changed at the arrival of a religious group. That's persecution. I'm talking about THIS removal of ALL kids from their parents based on false information. THAT is wrong. If they find any wrongdoing, they should prosecute those people. But so far, I haven't heard anything but conjecture and outright lies.

If we are to go by facts and not bullshit, there are none presented thus far that pan out and support removing all these kids from their homes. No welfare fraud, no reports of verified forced sex, no reports of verified child abuse.

If they do find child abuse, that would slightly justify this, but since not all families are polygamous, not all of the girls are pregnant, no justification for removing boys, no welfare fraud has been proven, nothing so far, any support for this raid is not based on facts, just like the raid itself.

The only people who would persecution are the followers of the FLDS themselves. You can twist it any way you want.

So says the media since the raid.

Of course you don't see proof: you weren't inside the compound. It was a young woman, an adult, that reported the mess.

You mean the call they are now attributing to a woman in Colorado with a history of hoaxes?

What don't you get about the fact that there are girls in the CPS's custody who are either pregnant now, or mothers already and they are under 15? That is evidence my friend, open your eyes. And here is an article about the actual history about at what age girls married in American history. or Mormon history for that matter.

LDS Mormon Teen Polygamy

Quite legal in Texas until 2005. That's persecution. Unless they can prove that these girls were forcibly impregnated, teenage pregnancy is pretty much common these days. By 15, the numbers are huge.

Again, not all of the girls are pregnant, obviously there is some choice involved by someone. If these people in this closed society choose to behave this way, unless some actual wrongdoing is alleged, and no one actually from the compound has done this, I don't see placing my values on them. Especially by changing the laws to create criminals where there were none before. That's like seeing a car coming down the road and dropping the speed limit as they pass.

It is wrong and illegal for men of a certain age to have sex with girls of a certain age. And what don't you understand about changing laws to protect people? It is done all the time, especially when there are those clearly abusing the law. Like a 40 year old man wanting to marry a 14 year old girl, legally or otherwise.
