The heavily made up women that we see every day.
Clown.
A girl who covers herself in so much makeup, the true flesh of her face is difficult or impossible to see.

I don't know where you live but the women that I see every day are not generally heavily made up. Most of them wear little or no makeup -- including myself. Hell, I look younger than the 30 something FLDS women that I saw pictured on Yahoo news. And I am 51.

Unless you know the actual age of the women you saw, I really don't see where you can make the accusation that "the women look old". Those severe hair situations they wear might be throwing you off.

Or maybe people are just lying to you. Just kidding.

Hot damn..State Wrongly Removed 400 FLDS Kids, Texas Appeals Court Says | ABA Journal - Law News Now
I knew this was bullshit from the beginning.
"The ruling directs the district court to vacate the temporary orders granting conservatorship, or custody, of the children" to the state's Department of Family and Protective Services, reports the Deseret News.

Deseret News | Appeals court rules officials acted improperly in removing FLDS children
The ruling means the Department of Family and Protective Services has 10 days to follow the judicial order and release the children. All of the status hearings scheduled for today and Friday have been postponed in light of the ruling.

There is a slideshow on Yahoo news that gives the ages of some of the women. So, yes, I know their ages.

The bad hair may throw it off some but I was looking more at the stringy necks and leathery skin. They look like my grandmother -- who spent her life on a farm -- did when I was a child and she was in her 50s. Maybe it is just years of Texas sun with no sun screen.

The slideshow had 4 women with ages I think. Are you gonna judge ALL the women by those? They've only been in Texas for 4 years.

Sounds quite presumptuous. But that seems to be the normal reaction to these people.

Well, I suppose that there is a Texas-size problem for the DFPS to fix. The question is do the children really want to go back to that ranch?

I sure didn't like Texas when I stayed there, especially in a town in the middle of a prairie land.

Why wouldn't they? That's their home.

But I agree, I hate Texas too. I used to commute there every week or two, between the heat, storms, and all that "middle of nowhere", I'm glad to be from Ga. Since they never left Texas though, it's not like they know any better.

But I've been reading a few legal blogs, the FLDS have a helluva civil case here. And if the kids have been mentally altered from this, that's just more fodder for the lawsuit.
If the girl suing the FLDS can sue for forcing her to marry, the girls that turned out adults have a case as well for being held for a month under false pretenses.
