I'm supporting the rights of the parents. As long as they aren't legally married, a man having many females at his side is no different than any other guy with several baby's mommas.

The government can't sweep in and take people from their home like that. Not every one of the families seized was polygamous or underage, and some of the "children" turned out to be adult. That's why this is gonna cost Texas dearly.

Not quite sure I get what you are trying to say. And the homophobe reference in this thread clouds your intent even further.

The cost of raiding a small town and taking all their children.

Interesting how some of the parents decided to keep the homes or apartments they rented while the kids were in CPs's custody. I wonder if they saw a way out and decided to take it.

Not really. Many of them are doing it until they see what kind of "oversight" the CPS is gonna do next.
Most sect kids stay away from YFZ Ranch - UPI.com
Child Protective Services spokesman Patrick Crimmins said 178 youths are residing in 33 homes in and near San Antonio and 143 youths are in 30 homes at the sect's compound outside of Eldorado, Texas, the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram reported Thursday.

Rod Parker, an Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints attorney, said several women have chosen to live away from the ranch on recommendations from their attorneys.

In case you didn't know, there are several sects of this church, and not all of them live in closed compounds like the YZF. Many of them live in homes in town just like everyone else. It's a religion not a jail.

I know that, but why don't you read or watch some of what those who have left said about what happens after you leave and what often happens to the family that you leave behind after you leave? Prisons aren't always brick buildings with iron barred cells. It is a much more subtle and insidious kind of prison when you are living there.

Because that's like asking a divorced woman about her ex-husband. Not usually an unbiased source of information. There are enough people, not all men, that are happy there to convince me it's not the hellhole you portray it to be. No physical abuse was proven, no dysfunction among the kids, and no mass exodus. It seems most people are happy. Hell some millionaire children rebel against being rich as hell. Poor children.

Check out "Born Rich". It's enlightening.
