| Religion What is your take on religion? Do you base your thoughts in life according to your religion? Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics? |

The difference is McCain is just supported by Hagee. McCain doesnt attend his church, didnt baptize his children. Nor has McCain ever called Hagee his "spiritual advisor". Im sure he likes the support due to the votes he will get from Hagees followers, but the relationship pretty much ends there. Obama has attended Wrights church for 20 years.

All you've really said, Grace; is that Obama has attended church, while McCain has not. Also that his children are baptized. Would it, or should we think differently of McCain or Clinton (or any other person) if they say they are Catholics? They follow the same church as those previously mentioned Catholic preists who have been sexually abusing young boys. Where do we draw the distinction? I'll tell you. We draw the line at what an individual has said and done for himself; and not because someone else that person knew did so. Granted; that would be in a perfect world; and we live in an imperfect one.

Hey, Im not saying its right or wrong to label him by association, Im just saying the relationship between Hagee and McCain, is much different, and much less involved than the relationship between Obama and Wright. To say its the same thing is just flat out wrong.

I can find a parallel situation to the Hagee endorsement though, case in point: Louis "White Devil" Farrakhan. Obama to my knowledge never hung out with Farrakhan, likewise McCain wasn't buddies with Hagee in the past. Both Farrakhan and Hagee have made statements that are very offensive to some. To some, Farrakhan is anti-White and anti-Semitic and Hagee is an Ultra-Zionist and anti-Catholic. Farrakhan endorsed Obama whereas Hagee endorsed McCain. Obama publicly rejected the words and support of Farrakhan; conversely, McCain, while denouncing Hagee's more controversial comments, accepted his endorsement. Everything I say is a lie, and that is the truth.
