Good luck if he answers that one, TW.

He'll probally answer it Highway. No doubt in my mind he'll be more then happy share his beliefs.

Only problem is he'll do his best to present his beliefs as 'superior'...As well as claim his beliefs are the only one that doesnt' have to be 'justified' because they're 'the only acceptable' religion in his mind.

Which he's entitled to that opinion, BUT if he's setting guidelines about others having to justify his beliefs, then he should be held up to those same standards as well...

And without saying 'because everyone else is' or 'because the Bible says this/that'.

something about the quote feature.....

garysher has written about his religious beliefs in several posts. as he has not answered this question directly, i have taken the liberty of providing something. this is informed from what he has written in the past, posted publicly on this site, so it is not anything he has been coy about. if this is incorrect or offends in any way, my apologies garysher. my aim is nothing more than dialogue.

garyshers religious position appears to be that of a conservative christian. he has posted previously about following the ten commandmants, about everyone being a sinner. he talks of God respectfully and in reference to an entity to be admired rather than feared. he has written about the value of the bible but also the need to interpret the bible appropriately. he is, however, not nearly as fundamentalist as some. he has quoted the bible in defense of his position, but has also argued when others have posted the bible, saying it is not so simple as finding a convenient verse and following it blindly.

once again, i am not trying to put words in garyshers mouth, i am distilling some of what he has previously said for the purpose of generating some discussion about faith.

Sorry, but there's been a few links put up by TW and myself...If Gary put any up, then it's because he got the information from either TW or myself and reposted from where we pointed others to begin with.

And I personally haven't seen TW respond as if he's ashamed of being Wiccan...Quite the opposite as he's done well in explaining his beliefs and Wicca in general.
Somebody did post on how they generally hide the fact they are Wiccan for fear of negative reactions and reprisals at work. I don't remember who it was and don't have the patience to go back and look. It wasn't TW though.
