Seriously, when did I ever say "life spawned from a mud puddle"?

Precisely.

Many conflicts could be mistakenly portrayed as between opposing religions, from the Crusades to the current Iraq 'war'.

The troubles in Northern Ireland were often wrongly described as a struggle between Protestants and Catholics.

But when the IRA planted bombs in pubs and butcher's shops, and blew little children apart limb from limb, it wasn't because they were trying to convert people to catholicism.

Yeah, and the Iraq War wasn't started by the Pope's and Christian kings' zealotry to capture the holy city, issuing edicts that murdering infidels isn't against God's commandments either.

At least what I believe has some what of a scientific foundation. Only life its self can create life. In order for that to be true something must be alive, and eternal.

You believe in origin of life, no?

I've been to a couple, and I've seen believing Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Wiccans, and even agnostics and atheists attend. My parents attend a large one where they moved to in far up-state New York merely because there isn't a Lutheran Church anywhere they live. The most they preach isn't religious doctrines but a kind of weird flavor of "peace and love will save the world". Which is all nice and everything but I see it as kind of redundant, and I don't think you need all of the weird religious candle lighting, singing, and prayer chanting to discuss ideas with people of other religious persuasions.

Which is why the foundations of the biological sciences are centered on creationism and not evolution.

That it originated? In a sense yes, but that it was created by an intelligent thinking being? No.
