Sounds like the Church of Religious Science

That it originated? In a sense yes, but that it was created by an intelligent thinking being? No.
But how did 'creationism' come to pass? Did it just happen?

What do you mean? The idea? Creationism was created by humans.

No, but it is why the "foundations of biological sciences" have yet to prove, recreate, or even witness the absurd claims made by them.
You have much more faith than you think Kat.

There is far to much design in every life form on this planet to think the first wasnt created by intelligence. What ever gets you though the night though.

Bacteria make major evolutionary shift in the lab

A major evolutionary innovation has unfurled right in front of researchers' eyes. It's the first time evolution has been caught in the act of making such a rare and complex new trait.

Maybe the name Creationism was created by humans, but my question was how did Creationism come to pass?

Did it 'just happen'?

Point being when you remove God from theories of creation they become even more unbelievable than when you leave Him in!

With the exception of the first, they've done all of those. Scientific theories aren't "proven" in the literal sense of the term; even the theories of gravity and the path of rotation of the Earth around the Sun aren't "proven".

There's no evidence of intrinsic 'design' anywhere beyond the design of careful natural selection over billions of years; a good chunk of which was taken just in the development of the building blocks of life.

Whatever gets me through the night? I'm not the one who has to make up stories of a big invisible man at the heart of existence looking over me.
