Wait a minute. This chat room is called "10 questions Christians must answer", so I'm being asked to prove my faith. Are you not paying attention? You obviousy have nothing intelligent to say, which is why our conversation is turning into a tit for tat.

Furthermore, why are trying to "prove" Christianity wrong? Are you that bored? Have you nothing better to do? If you have anything intelligent to say, then do so. Let us debate the issue, but don't statements with the intention to offend anyone.

They are our way of accessing forces that are not completely fathomable by the human mind. So your answer would be yes and no.

I did not mean to offend. It's just that so many Christians are so "pushy" with their beliefs, that they tend to draw the ire of many an otherwise reasonable person.

But I agree that we just don't know most of what is "out there". It's the people that pretend they DO know that make me laugh.
Yeah! Why doesn't he come out of the sky right now and end all violence and human suffering? Maybe HE is not in the sky at all. HE is us.

I will be the first to admit that many, not all, Christians don't understand their faith. They don't read the Bible or concerning literature. They go to church on sunday and live the sinners life every other day. Then, they tell how bad you are and how you need Jesus.

There are many Christians, like me, who take their faith seriously. I'm not boasting, but I am informing you, that I seek God everyday. Christian life is not one of religiosity; rather a personal relationship with our God. I can go directly to Him for guidance. There is great comfort in the ability to do this. There is no specific song and dance to reach Him; only a humble and contrite heart.

As for proof, my life is proof. I am completely different than I once was. I am no longer in a constant state of depression and remorse. I no longer have the hatred and anger that I once did. I feel this heavy burden has been taken off my shoulders. I have been freed of my addictions. These addictions only temporarily relieved the pain- actually, they numbed me. Jesus is the cure for your pain.

I do feel pain, often. Most of which because my parents, siblings, and many of the people I know don't know the Lord-and because you don't know the Lord. I want you, and everyone else, to feel and experience the joy and satisfaction that has been given to me. I no longer feel abandoned and alone. You don't need to be perfect or special. You don't need to earn it; you can't. All you need is to come to God broken and humbled.

Let go and let God.

He will soon. Read the book of revelation. Its the last in the Bible. It speaks of a coming one world government( NAFTA, EU,UN,SPP,NAU), famines and pestilences(bees disappearing, oil prices sky rocketing, rice corps way down), wars and rumors of wars( Iraq, Iran/Israel, N. Korea, Russia, China).

It will happen soon. Read international news, American news is biased and hides the truth from us.

Also, read Ezekiel 38. Its a vision of war between Israel and basically ever other middle eastern country, including Egypt and Sudan. How did Ezekiel know that this war would happen 25 centuries ago, especially since this was before the Medo-Persian empire conquered the Babylonians?

Also, read the book of Daniel. It speaks of the revival of the Roman empire (IMO, the EU) when Roman was just a two horse town in his day? The Bible validates itself if you will study it. Trust me, it will freak you out.

As do the prophecies of Nostradamas, Native American prohets, and others. The Bible is not the only source of prophecy; phophecies are usually fulfilled in hindsight by those interpreting them.

Not that I have anything against Christians; just wanted to point out a fallacy of logic. My personal opinion is that if someone can be at peace by finding faith in anything; they are welcome to it.
