I think acting like a human should act, and having a strong faith are wonderful. But more people are turned off to something when they are pressured. Why can't behiving like a Christian be good enough, without having to convert all those who might not get it yet? There are much more effective ways to bring people over, without bashing them over the heads with it. It is a personal journey and people will get it when it is their time to get whatever it is they are supposed to get. | First of all, I'm not trying to make anyone convert to Christianity. I didn't even tell you that you're wrong or a sinner. I'm not forcing my beliefs on you. I'm simply trying to give insight and defend my faith. People are all looking for something in this life. Faith in Jesus Christ and the Bible explains these things to me better than anything else. If my happiness and personal joy offends you then, then you are one unhappy person. There's no pressure, so don't be so quick to pull that trump card.
Second of all, this is a forum dedicated to discussions of these sort of topics. If you can't handle reading what I wrote, then go to another site. Again, don't tell me that I'm judgemental or something like that. I've yet to tell you that, "you're a sinner", "you're going to hell". People on this site have wrote numerous times that Jesus is not the Way, Jesus is imaginary, and so on. So, who's converting to their faith?
All I want to do is bring people the joy that I feel. I give my testimony because that's all I'm responsible for. You can accept it or reject it. |
