Religion What is your take on religion? Do you base your thoughts in life according to your religion? Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics?

And no, I'm not going on a crusade to find Pagan prophecies that have come true because I'm not on a mission to convince anyone of anything. Prosyltizing is most definitely against my chosen religion...
People of European descent can tie their roots back to many different origins. Remember that the world was inhabited by more than just Jews. There are many Jews in Europe, N. and S. America, Asia, and Africa; probably Aussie Jews, as well. They may not practice their religion but they are what they are.

Since 1948, they have been flocking back to Israel, as the Bible foretold in Ezekiel and (Jeremiah?).

How did these guys know this stuff?

I am glad that you have found the path that is right for you and I really do understand that you believe the Bible is the word of your God. I also understand that your faith requires you to witness to others and have no problem with it. I think that your belief in the truthfulness of these prophecies is really a matter of faith and I respect your right to have that faith.

I never said that there were no prophecies that have come true in the Bible. On the other hand, I have seen lots of people read what they want to into prophecy interpretation. Most of the time, the interpretations do not stand up to critical review and because of that they don't meet the requirement for being proof. There are any number of explanations as to how someone back then could know something about modern Israel. The most logical of these is that the book in question was written after the Israelites returned from the first captivity and that the prophecy had already come true in that first homecoming. The establishment of modern Israel may be coincidental or it may not; all depending on faith.

If you cant understand what the prophecy is saying, well, I guess you just see what you want to. Its cool, I didnt want to get into that anyway. I just want someone to show me what they claim. That other religions have fullfilled prophecies.

Some people interpret the highlighted section literally to mean that the diaspora of the Jews populated Europe.

Fine, I just gotta wonder though why you would make claims you have no intention of proving, or even further discussing. Well not really, this conversation has gone the same way it always goes.

Both Gary and Grace are asking "why" and I believe I already stated why. I am not on a mission to convince anyone of anything where religion is concerned. I've got to wonder if either of you are open-minded enough to read posts by people who do not hold the same beliefs as you.

Not only does my religion frown upon proselytizing, but common sense tells me not to beat my head against a brick wall...

You mean like how you were not willing to tell me what the prophecy you quoted meant? Pot calling the kettle black?
