You don't understand.

You try to claim that the "establishment" clause just prevents the government from setting up a state religion.
That's not what it says, and you inappropriately limit the scope of the statement.

The first amendment talks about the government and the "establishment of religion". That includes endorsing religion via government actions.

Funny how you claim this, yet it's how the constitution is ACTUALLY INTERPRETED today.
Have communist liberals just taken over the ENTIRE judiciary?

Or is it more the truth that religious zealotry is trying to place religious icons on property that they don't own, and getting pissy when they are told no...
Nope. You are wrong. I'll stand by my intepretation until you can prove me wrong with something other than your opinion. I know how to read.

That would never happen. You cannot put up religious symbols and I am okay with that. What I disagree with is the person who has a cross around their neck or brings a bible to school or a coach who leads the school team in prayer. That is what gets a lot of us Americans up in arms. You are limiting the religious freedom of Americans. A government building has nothing to do with it. That is something dreamed up by the ACLU communists.

Why do you have Christmas break? If you can't mention Christianity in schools, what the hell are schools doing having a Christmas break? You all tried to get around that by calling it "holiday" break. Bullshit. What holiday is it? CHRISTMAS. Duh. Hypocrites.

You don't get it, do you.

ALL you have is YOUR opinion.
On my side, it is NOT just my opinion.
I am talking about how our court system CURRENTLY INTERPRETS THE CONSTITUTION.

And your fool-hardy response is just to whine about "liberal communist judges"...
Disproving NOTHING of what they say, and relying SOLELY on insults.

"prove you wrong"?

You just can't realize that I've already done that...

No. I don't think you do know how to read...

You are talking about how liberal judges interpret the constitution. There are a lot of judges who think just like I do. There are judges for both sides of this debate. What America needs to do is get rid of the ACLU boot lickers in black robes and put some intelligent people on the courts who don't have an agenda but know how to read the constitution.

I completely agree. I also don't think they need a summer break. The point of summer break was to help on the farm, we are no longer agrarian. I say if we have less school breaks we can knock it out sooner.

Elastic Language, my butt.
Keep it up, you're digging yourself deeper. You obviously don't understand the Constitution nor the intentions of its framers. The language of the Constitution is undeniably elastic. Not only because you can get that from actually reading it, but also because the framers have said and recorded that many clauses of the Constitution was elastic and for good reason. If it weren't elastic, it wouldn't have worked so long.

The only way I am wrong about this is if the conspirators in the vast liberal evil plot have taken over our entire legal system and law education system. Plus altered historical documents. *sigh*.

Well, the constitution wasnt meant to be interpreted into whatever the judges think is right. The constitution was written in ink, and says what it says, despite your ramblings about the courts.

A picture of Jesus that has been in the school for 30 years, is not an infringement on seperation of Church and State. Show me how it is? I want Constitutional wordings, and common sense this time.

Its a friggin picture of Jesus! This is where I do agree with the Right in this country. For all things truthfull, leftists want everyone to be equall, yet also different. If this was an artists rendering of Islamic art, the ACLU wouldnt say crap.

The ACLU was founded by Socialists, Communists, and raving idiots at the turn of this century. Even then Socialists didnt get their damn pants in a loop about piddly crap like this. There seems to be some crusade by the ACLU, to get people to follow their own faith, "secular humanism" Forcing our kids to learn Evolution (which is theory, not fact) barring them from having extra-cirrucular religious classes. To teach them about, Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other faiths.

This is crap. The ACLU takes thing way too far. Get the fuck over it, a picture of Jesus hurts noone. It offends noone. It forces religion on noone. It sponsored no religion. It encourages no faith.

I would like to find a way to rid america of the ACLU and the ADL for their inheritant disregard for any freedom of expression.
