deserving as they may be, mocking and ridiculing has no effect whatsoever other than defining the lines of separation more clearly. it brings no resolution or education. It only serves to alienate people even more.

You cannot counter senseless rhetoric with more senseless rhetoric. Then you only wind up with one common thing.. the lack of sense. And i don't think that does anybody any good.

You seem to have a hinduistic attitude towards spirituality.. that means you understand the concept of unity. The purpose of debate is to clarify the unity of humanity.. not to condemn or to draw lines of separation.

Just because they support certain policies, doesn't mean that they are really aware of the consequences OR the history OR the reality of the situation. But such is also the case with a large number of otherwise peaceful muslims who will STILL spout useless rhetoric and threats. In fact such is the case with humanity across the board.

Humans are humans.. and as such they are to accorded the exact same respect as anyone else. And if they are incapable of responding with respect.. well it is not your place to judge. One is only master of one's own actions. They will make their own peace eventually.
