What is the purpose of this post??? The stories and links are over a year old. Let's face a little reality folks. Truthfully does anyone in this forum believe that under Hitler the people of Germany had choices of joining or not joining the Hitler Youth or the Army????

Because Pope Benedict is viewed as a Conservative, his past is open to attack. Then be fair and balanced (gotta love FOX) and attack former Kleagle of the KKK Robert Byrd (D), Senator West Virginia and hold him accountable for his past. If not, then shut up!!!!!!!!!

Let us remember that the First Crusade was the result of the Moors attacking and taking over Jerusaleum from Christians.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

Seems as that went straight over your head.

He was being ironic. He was saying that's what the Republicans think. And the pawn thing was a quote from Henry Kissinger.

Now im no supporter of the Pope, nor the RCC. But I see no wrong in what the man said. Is it wrong to call a spade a spade? Look at how they reacted to it. Exactly what the man was saying to begin with.
