| Anyone check out the links? They are pretty provocative. Sometimes we are not aware of our prejudices against others, and that can interfere with our relations with others. We assume, we think, we speak, and we can offend others, all based on what our personal experiences, cultural values, and the influence of those who we have shared our lives and minds with, have taught us about those we share our world with. Prejudice is sometimes innocent ignorance, not intentional hatred. It is a hard cycle to break free from, but it can be overcome with properly educating yourself about others and trying not to judge others by your own standards and values. Is this pope able to do that? What has he shown us, so far? I think that speaks for itself. Our Task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures, the whole of nature, and its beauty.
