And I'm saying, "Do some research!"

The ACLU is pulling in taxpayer money by the millions.

In other sorts of cases, doesn't the violator pay the victim's court costs?

Yes, I believe you would - and I believe you'd be right.

On the other hand, people who have a predisposition against religions - and especially Christianity - are not only NOT called bigots, they're heralded as the "intellectuals" and "the thinkers".

Same ugly bigotry, but with a different twist. Hevusa is a perfect example of that.

Hmm.. so if I have a predisposition against violence... oh, wait, there is an action there (whereas I am only predisposed)... the actio being name calling or litigation... I think I'm getting a better understanding of what you mean.

But then again, say you let someone lead a prayer at a government event, who's to say what type of religious prayer it will be? Can it be Jewish? Christian? Muslim? Buddhist? Wiccan? If any of the previous, which sect/denomination? Who/what is being prayed to? Much better in my opinion to have a moment of silence and let people do their own prayer (or meditation, or nothing).

I agree. But you and I BOTH know that that's NOT what the ACLU is after!

And you're still not addressing the fact that many people are religious bigots - yet the same people would SCREAM about somebody else being a bigot.

We do? I am not convinced yet they are after anything else.

I'm not addressing it because I've not seen it, or if I have, I've not been conscious of it. Although, there does seem to be prejudice against Wiccans and Pagans, and they turn around and send it right back. Doesn't seem right to me, either way.

I don't believe I said anything disagreement with this statement. Is the research you would have me do related to the ACLU pulling in taxpayer money?

Anyone can lead any kind of prayer at a government event. There is nothing in the constitution against it. Bush had a Christian speak and lead a prayer at his first inauguration and no one did a damn thing about it. That is surely a government event. The only ones against it are the communists who have succeded into making people believe it is constitutional to prevent it. The "separation" clause is to keep government out of religion, not religion out of government. As usual, the liberals are confused.
