There is incredible irony in how Debbie describes the incident, and how the thing she quotes describes the incident. Much like night and day...

Of course, as in with all crappy reporting, even this account leaves too much out. If the claimants were blocking the locker of one of the other women, I could easily understand how it could escalate.
If the claimants were nowhere near the locker of the other women, then one has to wonder why it became an issue in the first place.

This Muslim has been going to the Fitness USA for 7 to 8 years, and out of the blue she decides to 'pick a fight'???

This will probably turn into one of those crappy "she said/ she said" situations...
Yes, out of the blue she decides to pick a fight. Why do you find that so incredible? Muslims are picking fights everywhere. Demanding special prayer rooms at airports, demanding special holidays in Britain, demanding this, demanding that, etc. You don't get it. Dhimitude.

Which "she"?
Oh wait. One of them is black. Must be her fault.
Crap. That's not the prejudice at hand. One of them is MUSLIM, so obviously it's her fault.
< end sarcasm >

The point is that the article quoted by "Debbie" says the Muslim woman was harassed and pushed.
But of course, YOU read that and say that the Muslim picked the fight.

This Muslim woman has been going to this club for 7 to 8 years without incident. But now, it must be her fault...

Christians are picking fights everywhere.
Demanding special rights left and right. Demanding they get time off for Christian holidays, demanding to have a 29 foot cross on government land, demanding that they be allowed to have prayer in school....

And this article is a perfect example. Just like you...
Debbie reads statements in an article about how a Muslim woman is harassed and pushed, and you two assume that the Muslim started it.

I read the entire article. Looks like she was obstructing other people from going about their business. If she was in my way, I'd say excuse me. If she didn't move, I'd shove here out of the way also. Just because she is praying, she does not have the right to block the path of people going about their business. This is pure BS. I'm not surprised you'd defend the muslims. This is nothing but another case of bullying by muslims. She's lucky she didn't get her damn nose busted. I'd like to see her try that at a gym around here. I notice law suits are happening. Now tell me this was not a set up. Of course foundit picks and chooses the words in the story to make it look like the poor little muslim was being picked on by the big ole mean bigots in the gym. Why didn't you quote this part foundit? A deliberate dishonest attempt by foundit to pour sympathy on the bitch.

"You have to read between the lines, but it sounds like Wardeh Sultan, the Palestinian Muslim chick, got in the way in the women's locker room and picked a fight with the women trying to get around her".

"It appears that Sultan objected to other gym members' exercise of free speech. It also appears that the whiny Muslim chick refused to identify herself to gym management and was being so disruptive, she was asked to leave and the police were called. The police arrived and questioned Sultan, and she was forced to leave".

Try a little honesty next time foundit. You should get a job at the New York Times. You report just how they like it.

I finally found it. Read my post above. You still don't know what is going on do you? You still don't know what this is about.

Quote me the part of the original article which says she was "obstructing other people".

I'm not defending anyone. There just plain isn't enough information.
People are making claims left and right, but all we're hearing is "interrupted" and "harrassed" and "pushed"...
No details about what took place beyond three verbs...

But of course, since one of them was Muslim, that's all you need to know...

People sue all the time. It doesn't mean "set up", although sometimes it can.

Actually, I'm glad you brought that up.
You see that first part there where Debbie says she is "reading between the lines"???
NOWHERE does it say ANYTHING about "picking a fight" or people "trying to get around here". NOWHERE.

"It appears"????
Over and over again, "it appears"?
And the comment about "forced to leave"?
NONE of this crap is in the original article Debbie is LYING when she pretends it's the source of her story.

That is just plain hilarious.
Debbie makes up ALL this information that is found NOWHERE in the original story, and you like what it says so you repeat it as gospel.
Unbe-fricken-lievable.

THIS is the type of crap that starts rumors and fuels the prejudice. People like Alias who judged this woman guilty based SOLELY on the fact that she was Muslim, before ANYTHING else was said but "interrupted".

What it is not is when somebody reads a story and then claims it said a whole lot of things that it never did.
What Debbie did? That is not honesty...

You're hilarious at times alias.
All the times I give you stuff to read, and now you've got a book with a title you like, and suddenly you think you're an expert.
Freakin' hilarious at times...

Tell you what. How about you start DISPLAYING some of that "book lurnin" you're doing instead of just tossing links to books at people?

Here's a question for you.
Did you actually READ the book? Or did you just hear of the term "dhimitude" on a conservative radio station, and then you looked for a book that talked about it and gave me that link?
